Reiki and Our Pets

Our pets are the part of our family that demand nothing and bring us so much joy in our lives. When our pets are unwell, we do what we can to help them get better.  Reiki works with pets even better than it works with humans because animals tend to be more receptive to energy received. More often than not, it is better to give animals a distant healing to sustain an undisturbed energy flow as well as safety for the healer in cases where the animal is not open to strangers touching them. 
Why stop at pets? All animals are natures beautiful creatures and they endure suffering too, a lot of times at the hands of humans. It is the duty of every healer to send compassionate healing to these beings.
